Sanyo is proud to announce today two new projectors that are designed for high-brightness and high-performance. The LP-XM150 and LP-XM100 both features 3LCD display technology, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The only difference is that the XM150 can display 6000 ANSI lumens, while the XM100 only displays 5000 ANSI lumens. Both projectors are fitted with a brand new optical engine and a new cooling technology that allows the projectors to produce 20% more light than any other Sanyo projector. The optical system is equipped with an inorganic liquid crystal panel for a longer lifespan and for higher reliability. Both projectors are fitted with a diverse connection panel including, DVI, 5BNC, RGB, composite, component, s-video, and several audio ports. There is also a LAN connection for network capabilities. Sanyo plans to release the XM150 is November and the XM100 in December. Unfortunately these projectors are only intended for Japan right now, but a worldwide release is probably not too far behind.
