Epson EH-DM2 Projector Review

The Epson EH-DM2 is one of the many projectors Epson provides with a built-in DVD player. This projector also features WVGA (858 x 480) resolution, 1200 ANSI lumens, and a 300:1 contrast ratio. Recently, the writers from PC World got the opportunity to test this projector. When they took the projector from the box, the first thing they noticed was that the projector had no digital inputs. The projector only had RGB, composite, s-video, component, and a USB port for videos and photos. Their were no HDMI or DVI ports for any high quality content. The writers did like being able to watch their favorite DVDs with out having to connect an external player. Also the fact that the DM2 weighs only 8.4 lbs, gives the projector portability that is hard to get. Another major concern that the writers found however was that the resolution was the minimum requirement for standard DVD quality. If you are one of those people who want the best quality possible then you might want to look at other projectors. However even with the standard specs, the writers were overly impressed with the DM2, their final comment was, ‘If you’re looking for an all-in-one system that does away with the need to fiddle with cables, have a look at the EH-DM2 from Epson.’
