Premier Mounts Releases New Automated Projector Lifts

Premier Mounts has been at the forefront of the audio/visual industry. Today the company announced that two new motorized projector mounts will be joining their product line soon. The PWR-MDP1 and PWR-MDP3 are designed to hide your home theater projector comfortably in the ceiling. The lifts fit flush with the ceiling allowing a user to easily hide the projector when it is not in use. Both models can hold up to a 110lb projector and can be lowered down to 28 inches from the ceiling. Because the lifts are motorized, a user can easily plug the lift into a projector’s trigger port and have the lift automatically descend when the projector turns on. ‘Integrating A/V equipment into home theaters continues to be a challenge for integrators because homeowners want the room to have a seamless presentation — free of equipment and wires,’ said Jason Cole, product marketing manager at Premier Mounts. ‘By creating solutions that allow components to ‘appear out of nowhere,’ we’re helping integrators satisfy their clients’ needs while at the same time providing advanced, automated mounting equipment to secure the components.’ Premier Mounts will be demonstrating these new mounts next week at CEDIA 09 at booth #1642.
