Samsung Releases A600B Projector
Samsung is a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media, and digital convergence technologies. Today the company has announced the release of their latest home theater projector, the A600B, or A600 for short. This projector has the same high quality as the A800 and A900 from the ‘Joe Kane Signature Series’ projectors. The A600 features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 1000 ANSI lumens, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. One of the highlights about this projector is its diverse connection panel, which includes dual HDMI ports, composite, component, s-video and a RGB port for good measure. ‘For people interested in creating a home theater experience, but stopped short due to the costs, the A600 is a great alternative to the entry-level projectors that lack the Full HD quality,’ said Tom Grau, senior product marketing manager, projectors, Information Technology Division, Samsung Electronics America Inc. ‘We have incorporated the technology of our higher end models into the A600 to bring the movie-like viewing experience within reach of more people.’ The A600B is already available through the Samsung website and retails for the estimated retail price of $1795.
