Merlin Digital is proud to announce that they are releasing their second generation of pico projectors. This new model, called the Pocket Projector V2 is about the size of a TV remote control and weighs only 100 grams (0.2 lbs). Unfortunately, the company has not released any information about the resolution or the contrast, but they did state that the V2 has ‘Exceptionally High Brightness.’ The model comes with several good features like an internal battery and 2GB hard drive. There is also an SD card slot for an additional 64GBs of additional space. The V2 even has an AV jack and mini USB connection in order to connect to DVD players, digital cameras, and game consoles. The projector is powered by an LED lamp system, which is expected to last for between 10000 and 15000 hours. Merlin Digital is currently selling the V2 through their website for the retail price of $475, which seems a bit high compared to some of the other pico projectors on the market.
