Epson is the top selling projector brand worldwide. Today, the company is happy to introduce their latest creation, the PowerLite 1716. The specifications about this projector are limited at this moment, but we do know it can display XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 2700 ANSI lumens. The main feature that Epson is highlighting is that this projector will feature USB Plug ‘n Play technology. This feature allows a user to connect the projector to a PC or laptop via USB connection and the projector will automatically install drivers and programs in order for the user to control the projector through their computer. In addition, Epson has also included wireless connectivity through the same USB connection by using USB transmitters and receivers. The 1716 weighs less than 4 lbs and is intended to display high quality images on the road. Epson plans to release the 1716 to the consumer market in October for a retail price of $999.
