Optoma is one of the many presenters at this year’s CEDIA Expo. At booth #1565 you can see some of their new and upcoming projector like the HD8600. There is not a lot of detail available about this projector right now, but it does feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 650 ANSI lumens, and a 30000:1 contrast ratio. This model is designed for home theater entertainment and will join the already released HD8200 projector. Some of the features that Optoma will include with the HD8600 are ISFccc day and night modes, Pure Motion technology for a judder-free image, and a Deep Color support. The HD8600 does not have a release date yet, but it is expected to retail just under $7500. Optoma is also displaying their new HD2200 projector, but other than a $999 price tag and promise of full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, there isn’t any information at this time. More information will be announced as it becomes available.
