JVC Announces DLA-HD550 and DLA-HD950 Projectors
JVC is proud to announce that they will be releasing their newest home theater projectors soon, the DLA-HD550 and DLA-HD950. Both models are expected to replace last year’s models the DLA-HD350 and DLA-HD750 projectors. This year the main focus is creating a smoother and crystal clear image while reducing judder. These projectors will be the first from JVC to feature Clear Motion Drive technology, which will create an accurate intermediate frame by employing a high-precision interpolation algorithm that strengthens the precision of picture-character detection. The HD550 and HD950 will feature full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and respective 30000:1 and 50000:1 contrast ratios. The connection panel will include dual HDMI ports, composite, component, and a s-video. The HD950 will also have an added VGA port for good measure. Both projectors are expected to be released in October, but retail prices have not yet been released.
