Runco Launches Q-750i and Q-750d Projectors
Runco has been a steadfast leader in luxury video solutions for more than 20 years. Today, the company has launched their new Quantum Color series, which marks the company’s first set of LED projectors. The Q-750i and Q-750d are very similar in that they both display 700 ANSI lumens, a 10000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The major difference between the two models is that the 750d comes with an external video controller. This controller houses all of the projector’s connections and can be used to control the viewing settings. The processor connects to the projector via HDMI cable, which allows the user to easily control the projector even if it is mounted on the ceiling. These two projectors have reached a new height in LED technology by being able to produce the 700 ANSI lumens. ‘LED-based projection is incredibly complex and Runco has significantly invested to lead in this category,’ stated Runco CEO Gerry Perkel. ‘QuantumColor is a revolutionary solution that maximizes LED performance and offers a never-before-seen color gamut. But, having these features is only part of the magic. To make this a revolutionary new platform, Runco created proprietary technologies that harness the impressive color gamut to create images that are nothing short of stunning.’ Both projectors are now available through the company’s website and retail for $14995 and $17995, respectively.
