Sanyo is happy to announce today a new large venue projector, the LP-XF1000. This projector features a dual lamp system and can display 12000 ANSI lumens, a 4000:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The projector is not expected to be released until December, but the company will use the LP-XF1000 this week at the GITEX Technology Week in Dubai. What makes this projector so amazing is that it is the second projector made by Sanyo to feature a 4th LCD screen, the first being the LP-XP200L. A typical 3LCD display system uses three display panels. Each display panel is used for a specific color: red, green, and blue. The XF1000 uses a fourth display panel that is located behind the green display panel and it is used for yellows on the finished display. The finished image looks more vibrant and colorful with out looking like a cartoon. Other major features that Sanyo included with the XF1000 are an automatic filter that lasts up to 11000 hours, two optional connection panel boards, and several interchangeable lenses to help make the projector fit the room.
