Optoma Releases EX615 Projector
Optoma is one of the leading manufacturers of DLP projectors. Recently, the company released a new mobile projector in the UK, the EX615. This model is one of their brighter data projectors, featuring 3500 ANSI lumens, a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and 3000:1 contrast ratio. The added brightness allows owners to use this projector in rooms with the lights on with out worrying about a washed out display. The projector comes with a wide array of connections including HDMI, dual RGB ports, a composite and s-video connection. There is also an Ethernet connection for network capabilities, a mini USB port to connect a mouse, and a 12V trigger port for automated screen, lighting, or projector mounts. Unfortunately though, Optoma has not announced when the EX615 will be released in the USA.
