Samsung is proud to announce today that they are releasing a new projector into Korea today, the SP-P410M (AKA P410M). This projector is Samsung’s first LED model that they are releasing into the area. The P410M features 170 ANSI lumens, SVGA (800 x 600) resolution, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. The projector is not small enough to be qualified as a pico projector, but it can easily be carried one handed. The model is light weight, weighing only 2 lbs, and measures 5.8’ x 2.6’ x 5.7’ (W x H x D). Because of the small design, the connection panel is limited to only an RGB, composite, and a USB connection, which should be sufficient for most traveling presenters. There is also dual 1 watt speakers in order to play any audio during presentations, or if you want to play movies on vacations. The USB connection allows the projector to play a variety of formats from your computer including DivX, which one of the more popular and high quality video formats. The P410M is currently available through the company’s website, however, the retail price has not been released.
