BenQ is proud to announce today the release of a brand new home theater projector as well as two more that will be released in September. All of these projectors feature the latest in DLP display technology and have been designed for the tech-savy home theater enthusiasts and content-conscious home entertainment fans.

First up is the W6000 projector, which features full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, 2500 ANSI lumens, and an impressive 50000:1 contrast ratio. This model was announced earlier this year at InfoComm 09 and can not only display beautiful Blu-ray content, but also upscale lesser video to the full HD resolution by integrating new HQV processing technology. To help with setup, the projector has been equipped with manual zoom, lens shift and keystone adjustment features that allow the projector to be positioned virtually anywhere. The W6000 is currently available through BenQ, but the retail price has not been announced.

The other full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution projector is the W1000, which also includes a 2700:1 contrast ratio, and 1800 ANSI lumens. This projector is very similar to the W6000 and features a 6-segment advanced color wheel as well as a BrilliantColor processing. This model is not expected to be released until September.

Last but not least is the sensible W600 projector, which comes with a lesser HD (1280 x 720) resolution, 2000 ANSI lumens, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. This projector also comes with several connections like dual HDMI ports, composite, component, s-video, and RGB. BenQ designed this projector to be for gaming, video, pictures, and TV. This projector is also expected to be released in September.
