Christie Provies CP2000-SB Projectors to Malco Theaters
Christie is a global leader in visual solutions for entertainment, business and industry. Recently, there has been a growing demand for 2K resolution. Malco Theaters is a leading exhibitor in the mid-South of the USA. Recently they have asked Christie to equip their theaters with the Christie CP2000-SB projector. This model is one of the many projectors from Christie to feature 2K HD (2048 x 1080) resolution. It also features a 2100:1 contrast ratio and 30000 ANSI lumens. Mike Thomson, vice-president of Technology, Malco Theatres said, ‘At this time we found that the CP2000-SB projectors are the brightest projectors on the market. Their 1.2″ full-chip triple-flash technology allows us to have 5-6 foot lamberts of light on 50-foot wide Harkness Purlux 220 screens using Dolby 3D technology. They arrived when we needed them and have been operating flawlessly since their installation.’ The CP2000-SB’s main feature is its Brilliant3D triple-flash technology, which not only boosts the performance, but the image brightness as well. This feature is what makes this model one of the best single lens 3D projectors available.
