Sim2 Releases Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS Projector in UK
Sim2 is known for creating high-end home theater projectors. Today, the company is proud to announce that a new flagship is being released in the UK, the Grand Cinema C3X LUMIS projector. This model features 3000 ANSI lumens, a 35000:1 contrast ratio, and full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Weighing only 24.3 lbs and measuring 18.0’ x 8.3’ x 17.9’ (W x H x D), this projector is the smallest 3-chip DLP projector on the market. Sim2 has also given the LUMIS the latest DLP technology with a new DarkChip4 chipset from Texas Instruments as well as a new light engine and DynamicBlack technology. The connection panel is also impressive with dual HDMI ports, composite, s-video, RGB, component, and fiber optic links in order to connect the projector to an external video processor or a media rack. In the UK, the LUMIS is expected to retail for about £25k ($40352).
