The Epson EH-DM3 is the newest model to feature a built in DVD player. The projector can display 2000 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a 940 x 540 resolution. Today, PC World released their review of this projector. For as big as the projector is, it is incredibly light and is very versatile. The added DVD player allows users to enjoy their favorite movies anywhere with out having to worry about cords or extra electronics. One thing the writers really liked was the dual 10 watt speaker system, which is about the same quality speakers you would find in an HDTV. The image was pretty decent as the writers complimented the color saturation, sharpness, and brightness. The writers could not find any major problems with the EH-DM3. However, they did think that the retail price was a little high. They concluded by stating, ‘This is no business projector, focusing only on multimedia content. The Epson EH-DM3 may be a bit pricey but it does sufficient justice to its claim of being a home theater projector, and comes equipped with all the necessary features — not to mention a very good pair of built-in speakers. If you want to take movie-watching beyond the realms of a large screen television, take a look at the Epson EH-DM3.’
