NEC Announces NP510WS and NP610S Projectors Coming Soon
NEC is a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions. Today, the company is proud to announce two soon to be released short throw projectors, the NP510WS and the NP610S. Both projectors feature the latest in 3LCD display technology and can display a 600:1 contrast ratio. The NP510WS features a widescreen WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution and 2100 ANSI lumens, while the NP610S is a little bit brighter with 2600 ANSI lumens, and a XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. These projectors also come with similar connection panels that include a RGB, DVI, composite, and several audio connections. There is also a LAN connection for network capabilities. ‘The next-generation NP Short Throw Series was purposely designed for ease-of-use in areas with small throw distances, such as classrooms, conference rooms and training rooms, where a bright image is needed,’ said Rich McPherson, Product Manager at NEC Display Solutions. ‘The NP510WS and NP610S are cost-effective products that include a multitude of technologies to help presenters give efficient and successful presentations.’ The NP510WS and NP610S will be released in January and will retail for $949 and $999, respectively.
