Acer is happy to announce their latest portable data projector, the X1230. This projector features a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, 2500:1 contrast ratio, and 2400 ANSI lumens. The extra brightness ensures a quality image in all environments including brightly lit boardrooms. The projector only weighs 4.4 lbs, which means it could be taken to other locations or it could easily be mounted in a ceiling mount. The only concern is that this projector comes with a limited connection panel. The only connections include a RGB, composite, and an s-video connection. But for those who are new to projectors, this model is a good choice to make. The X1230 is currently available through certified retailers, but Acer has not yet released the retail price.
