Epson Releases PowerLite 1830 and PowerLite 1915 Projectors

Epson is the number 1 selling projector brand worldwide. Today, the company announced two new data projectors, the PowerLite 1830 and the PowerLite 1915. Both projectors feature 3LCD display technology, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and XGA (1024 x 768) resolution. The 1830 also features 3500 ANSI lumens, while the 1915 is a little brighter with 4000 ANSI lumens. These projector both come with a wide array of connection options including RGB, s-video, composite, and a USB port for flash drives. The 1915 can also use the USB port for wireless connectivity via an 802.11 b/g connection. ‘We listened to the needs of business professionals and educators and developed a class of projectors to exceed industry demands,’ said Edgar Jimenez, product manager, Epson Projection, Epson America. ‘The PowerLite 1830, 1915 and 1925W offer brightness, connectivity, versatility, and ease of use – the four essentials needed in today’s mid-sized boardrooms and classrooms.’ Both projectors are currently available through the Epson website. The 1830 retails for $1349, while the 1915 retails for $1899.
