InFocus IN3902 Projector Review

InFocus IN3902 Projector Review

The InFocus IN3902 is one of the company’s latest projectors designed for education purposes. The projector has a 2000:1 contrast ratio, XGA (1024 x 768) resolution, and 3000 ANSI lumens. Today, the writers from PC World released their review of the IN3902. The first thing they compliment is the high brightness output. This allows the projector to be used in a brightly lit, normal sized classroom with out any problems. The writers also highlight the connection panel, which includes an HDMI, dual VGA, an s-video, composite, USB, and several audio ports. However, the best feature about the IN3902 has to be the included LiteBoard interactive wand system. This pen allows a user to move a mouse cursor around the screen and control the projector and laptop from across the room. Not only does it act as a cursor, but it can also be used to right notes directly onto the screen, and even highlight sections of your PowerPoint presentation. The only problem with the pen is that it requires the light of the projector in order to work. This means that the presenter might have to stand away from what they are writing in order to prevent any shadows from disrupting the pen. The final comment that the writers made was, ‘InFocus’ IN3902 education projector offers some innovative and very useful advancements to the digital whiteboard market. Utilizing a combination of digital projector and wireless wand, users can interact with on-screen items very easily. The entire package only requires a simple USB connection to a PC — it’s simple to set up and operate, and it’s a feature not offered by other education and installation projectors.’
