BenQ W1000 Projector Review

BenQ W1000 Projector Review

BenQ has a wide array of home theater projectors. One of the models is the W1000, which comes with 2000 ANSI lumens, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. Today, a reviewer from Good Gear Guide released their experience with the W1000. They first mention that this projector is an entry-level projector, which means it’s suitable for any home theater, even if you don’t know anything about theater equipment. The projector is easy to setup and even includes several test patterns in order allow the user to make necessary adjustments. The image quality was very realistic and accurate. The writer complimented the color as well as the brightness. However, they did state that the contrast is only a step above data projectors and a step below high-end home theater projectors. The final statement made was, ‘The BenQ W1000 home theatre projector has a 1080p Full HD resolution and displays plenty of fine image detail, but it struggles when it comes to displaying dark or light areas of video. It is affordable and portable, so it is a good option for budget-conscious buyers, but there are more competent home theatre projectors available.’
