Virtalis Purchases First Christie Mirage WU7 Projectors in Europe
Christie is proud to announce that recently a company called Virtalis has ordered the company’s first Mirage WU7 projectors in Europe. The projectors feature 6600 ANSI lumens, a 450:1 contrast ratio and WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution. They will be installed by Virtalis for various reasons at the University of Northampton. One WU7 will be used for an ActiveWall system in the University’s Development suite. It will allow technicians to familiarize themselves with the technology before a new ActiveCube is installed later this year. Another project that will include the WU7 is a new NVision Center that will be able to display 3D content. The total cost of building the NVision is about £3m ($4.49m).
