NEC has announced recently that they are releasing two new projectors into the Middle East, the NP4100 and the NP4100W. Both projectors feature the same 2100:1 contrast ratio and DLP display technology. The NP4100 also features a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 6200 ANSI lumens, while the NP4100W features 5500 ANSI lumens, and a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The main feature about these projectors is that it ca be mounted vertically for a tall display instead of a typical long display. Both models come with a wide variety of connections, including 5BNC, RGB, DVI-D, component, composite, s-video, and several audio ports. Also included is a dual 3 watt stereo system that’s loud enough for any boardroom or classroom. Both the NP4100 and NP4100W are currently available through NEC certified retailers however; the retail price for the Middle East has not been released.
