Panasonic PT-AE4000 Projector Review
The Panasonic PT-AE4000 is one of the company’s best home theater projectors. It comes with 1600 ANSI lumens, full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, and an 80000:1 contrast ratio. CNET recently released their review of this projector. The writers were very impressed with the image quality and the motion handling. But they were not as happy with the black color reproduction, which made the images a lot darker than they should have been. Other aspects that the writers liked included the connection panel and the wide array of setup and screen adjustment features. The final verdict was, ‘The AE4000 doesn’t improve quite as much as we’d like over last year’s equivalent Panasonic model, but it’s easily the most flexible projector in its class. We still couldn’t get totally perfect pictures out of it despite that, but it’s nonetheless a very accomplished machine that will leave tinkerers in seventh heaven.’
